Our story

The Sunshine Heights Cricket Club was established in 1954 and has been providing an opportunity to juniors and seniors to play organised cricket for more than 70 years. The club is located in Sunshine West which is in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Sunshine is an extremely multicultural area. The club currently has 6 senior teams and 7 junior teams (ages 7 to 17). The club welcomes participants from all backgrounds and cultures.

The Sunshine Heights cricket club is looking for new junior and senior players to join our club for the 2026-27 season.

Junior coaches and volunteers looking to contribute to our great club are very much in demand and welcome.

Figtree Kangaroos 10. 10. 70 defeated Helensburgh Tigers 10. 9. 69

A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.
