Our history
Sunshine Heights (established 1954)
The Sunshine Heights Cricket Club was established in 1954 and has been providing an opportunity to juniors and seniors to play organised cricket for more than 70 years. The club is located in Sunshine West which is in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Sunshine is an extremely multicultural area. The club currently has 6 senior teams and 7 junior teams (ages 7 to 17). The club welcomes participants from all backgrounds and cultures. The club has a strong focus and reputation for engaging with and supporting new migrants and those from low socio-economic backgrounds and non-traditional cricket backgrounds (South Sudanese, Italian, Greek, Vietnamese) to play cricket.
